art projects featuring four projects examining pattern, light and form. butterfly kingdom, photographed in south korea, night lights, photos taken throughout toronto only between 12-2 at night, spin project, a new twist on the old classic, and finally, my pattern project which is pretty self-explanitory.

black and white dramtic and graphic photos mostly taken in 1999 and 2000 during my junior year abroad in ireland where i shot almost exclusively in black and white. i returned to notre dame my senior year to develop them in the dark room and have wanted to be a photographer ever since. photos span from barcelona to heidelberg, new york to paris.

travel bookmarks images that combine my love for traveling with triptychs (three photos presented together) and a strange fascination for bookmarks that comes partially from my love of reading, but most likely from my love of the long thin crop (ratio of 4:1). the love for this crop has to do with the contrast in dimensions, revealing both breadth and intimacy with the subject.
