The bats are huge in Brisbane (and I imagine the whole country). This past week I started noticing their regular evening pattern of descending on the city. Thousands of them from somewhere South East of the city at almost exactly the same time every night. It’s eerie to stand on the Victoria Bridge and just watch. They look a lot like birds… but they are not. Not easy to take photos of either.
