Nagata Shachu, a Japanese taiko drumming and music group, performs as a part of the first annual Sakura Ball on Saturday night at the Japanese Canadian Cultural Centre. The evening celebrated the completion of the final phase of the Japanese Cultural Centre’s expansion.
When the drumming was all done, Prime Minister Brian Mulroney gave the keynote speech.
