Last Thursday night, much of the West end of Toronto lost power. I was one of the unfortunate thousand that didn’t get power back until Friday evening. As much as the power outage was a bit of a pain on the coldest night of the year, it was a nice opportunity to get away from all the gadgets I surround myself with (except my camera, that’s not a gadget). Despite the cold, I snuck out with my new tripod and took a few pictures of my Parkdale neighborhood.
The funny thing about this photo is that it shows that lights are on at the end of the street, just one block away.
