Reflective 29

On principle, I generally refuse to take mirror photos of myself. It’s been done a million times and I think there are many more interesting things to do with a self-portrait. However, on the eve of my 30th birthday, I find myself reflective (sorry for the pun) and decided, why not, let’s document my last day as a twenty-something.

There was a time I was convinced I was going to do my Master’s project on a series of self-portraits and I may be the only person on the planet who has a photo album made up entirely of pictures of me and only me. Yeah, it sounds vain, but I keep telling myself it’s for my kids…

Well, now I have another to add to the bunch! I’m turning 30 tomorrow, hard to believe!

I confess that I don’t know the point of anything. Take one step to the side and it’s all absurd.
